Jon Thomson and Alison Craighead’s more recent work looks at how live networks including the world wide web, have changed and evolved our understanding of the world around us.

Both artists studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Jon is Reader in Fine Art at The Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, while Alison is a reader in contemporary art and visual culture at University of Westminster and lectures in Fine Art at Goldsmiths University.

Recent group exhibitions have included Somerset House's Big Bang Data, 2016, exploring issues surrounding the datafication of our world through the work of artists, designers, journalists and visionaries. Electronic Superhighway, Whitechapel, London (2016); Symbols/Transmitted Histories, MOCA North Miami (2014); Global Activism, SKM Karlsruhe, 2014).

Recent solo exhibitions include: Party Booby Trap, Carroll/Fletcher, 2016; Maps DNA and Spam, Dundee Contemporary Arts, 2014; Not even the sky, MEWO Kunstalle, Memminge, 2013.

Jon is Reader in Fine Art at The Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, while Alison is a Reader in contemporary art and visual culture at University of Westminster and lectures in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
