Arts Catalyst is recruiting for a Programme & Communications Coordinator to become part of a dynamic team during an exciting, evolutionary period for the organisation.
JOB DETAILS
Salary: £24,000 pro rata
Reporting to: Artistic Director/Joint CEO
Contract Terms: 3 days per week, permanent.
Regular office hours to be agreed; can be worked in half or full days across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours within the allocated 3 days per week is required to support evening and weekend programme activities.
Hours of work: 24 hours per week, inclusive of a 1 hour lunch break
Annual Leave: 16.8 days (28 days pro rata including bank holidays)
Location: Initial home working, transitioning to office-based in Sheffield city centre as restrictions allow. Equipment will be provided for home and office working.

Arts Catalyst is a nonprofit contemporary arts organisation that commissions and produces artist projects and research inquiries that critically engage with our changing world. Following a two-year period of building partnerships in South Yorkshire, in Summer 2020 we relocated from London to Sheffield, embarking on an exciting and important new direction for the organisation.
The Programme & Communications Assistant will work closely with Arts Catalyst’s Curator and Artistic Director, supporting with the delivery of Arts Catalyst’s artistic programme and accompanying communications and marketing activities.
You will join Arts Catalyst at a crucial and transformational time, as the organisation establishes itself in Sheffield and delivers an exciting new artistic programme for 2021/22.
As well as supporting a diverse range of artists, our staff team bring a range of perspectives to our organisation and we would encourage people who are currently underrepresented in the visual arts sector to apply, including those of Black, Asian or minority ethnic heritage, those who have faced socio-economic barriers, those who identify as LGBTQI+, and those with disabilities. We welcome applications from a variety of educational backgrounds and work experiences. Degree-level education is not a requirement.
